Community Guidelines
Version 1.0 · Effective: Draft Draft
This document is a draft under legal review. Fields in square brackets will be completed after approval.
1. Why these rules exist
Musichool should be a safe place where everyone can learn music comfortably. Students of all ages, including children, and instructors come together here. These rules apply wherever you interact with others or with the AI features on the Platform, for example:
- recordings sent to instructors with Hoca Dinlesin, and instructors' feedback,
- questions asked to an instructor twin and passed on to the instructor,
- messages written to the AI Coach,
- course content published by instructors.
[KARAR: extend these rules if user-to-user features such as comments, reviews, forums or messaging are added]
These guidelines are part of the Terms of Use.
2. Be respectful
- Be kind and respectful to everyone; keep criticism constructive.
- Insults, threats, harassment, bullying and humiliation are not allowed.
- Discrimination and hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age or any other characteristic are not allowed.
- Instructors and students use professional language with each other.
3. Protect children
- Any form of abuse of, inappropriate content for, or inappropriate contact with children is strictly forbidden and will be reported to the authorities.
- Child mode is used under a parent's account with a parent PIN. Parents must keep the PIN secret.
4. Respect privacy
- Do not share your own or others' personal information (phone, address, ID number, health information, etc.) in recordings, questions or AI messages.
- Send only your own practice in Hoca Dinlesin recordings. Do not record other people's voice or image without permission.
- Instructors use recordings and questions from students only to give feedback, and do not take them off the Platform or share them.
5. Respect rights
- Do not copy, record, share or sell course videos and materials.
- Do not publish other people's music, sheet music or recordings without permission.
- Do not share your account with others.
6. Use AI responsibly
- The AI Coach and instructor twins are there to help you learn music. Do not use them to generate harmful, illegal or inappropriate content.
- Do not try to trick the system, get around safety rules or cheat quotas.
- Do not present AI answers as the words of a real instructor; in particular, do not spread something an instructor did not say as if it were theirs.
- AI can give wrong answers; ask your instructor about important matters.
7. Do not misuse the Platform
- Do not send spam, ads or unwanted promotion.
- Do not pretend to be someone else (fake identity, impersonating an instructor).
- Do not do anything that disrupts the Platform, puts its security at risk, or collects data with automated tools.
- Do not use the Platform for anything illegal.
8. Report breaches
If you see something that breaks these rules, tell us what and where at [email protected] or through the Contact page. We keep reports confidential and review them.
Reports of copyright or personality-rights infringement are handled under Turkish Law No. 5651.
9. What happens if the rules are broken
Depending on how serious the breach is and whether it is repeated, we may take one or more of these steps:
- a warning,
- removing content,
- temporarily or permanently restricting certain features (e.g. AI Coach, Hoca Dinlesin),
- temporarily suspending the account,
- closing the account.
Where possible we will tell you our decision and the reason. To appeal, write to [email protected]. We may report unlawful activity to the competent authorities.
The Turkish version of these guidelines prevails if there is any conflict between the two versions.
