2. What the Platform offers
- Single-course purchase: lifetime access to the course you buy (see section 6).
- Plus subscription: access to the included courses while subscribed; monthly or yearly, renews automatically.
- Instructor subscription ("Hocaya abonelik"): access to all of one instructor's courses and that instructor's AI twin.
- Free features: Free Path ("Ücretsiz Yol"), Sound Workshop ("Ses Atölyesi"), child mode, and the AI Coach with a daily free quota.
- Çal, dinlesin ("Play, it listens"): your browser listens to you play, analyses pitch and rhythm in the browser and gives a score.
- Hoca Dinlesin ("Let the instructor listen"): if you wish, you send a recording to your instructor for feedback.
- Hocayla Çalış / Twin: an AI twin of an instructor that answers only from that instructor's own material; questions it cannot answer go to the instructor.
Courses are made by instructors. Videos are played through Vimeo and some through YouTube (youtube-nocookie).
3. Your account
- Age: [KARAR: minimum yaş — can users under 18 open an account with parental consent, and what is the lower limit?] To pay, you must be the lawful holder of the payment method or act with their permission.
- You must give accurate and up-to-date information.
- You must verify your e-mail address before a paid purchase or starting Plus. The verification link is valid for 24 hours and can be used once.
- Your account is personal. Do not share your password; do not let others use your account or sell it.
- We recommend turning on two-factor authentication. Keep your recovery codes somewhere safe.
- If you notice unauthorised use of your account, tell us immediately at [email protected].
4. Child mode
Child mode is used under a parent's account and protected with a parent PIN. No AI language model is used in child mode. The parent is responsible for supervising the child's use and keeping the PIN secret.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown on the purchase page. [KARAR: will prices be shown including or excluding VAT?] Payment is made by card through PayTR's secure payment screen; your card details never reach us. Details are in the purchase documents.
6. Licence to use
When you buy a course, or while you are subscribed, we give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to watch the course on the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. You do not become the owner of the course.
"Lifetime access" means you can access the course you bought from your account for as long as the Platform operates. [KARAR: if an instructor removes a course or the Platform shuts down, how will buyers' access be protected or compensated?]
7. What you must not do
You must not:
- download, screen-record, copy, republish or sell videos,
- distribute course materials (sheet music, tabs, PDFs, etc.) without permission,
- share your account or use someone else's,
- scrape the Platform with automated tools, reverse-engineer it or try to get around security measures,
- try to get around free quotas or access limits by cheating,
- send unlawful or harmful content, or content that infringes others' rights,
- break the Community Guidelines.
8. AI features (AI Coach and instructor twin)
- Answers can be wrong. AI can make mistakes and give incomplete or made-up information. For important matters, ask your instructor or a reliable source.
- Not professional advice. Answers do not replace professional advice on health (for example pain or injury while playing), law, finance or any other field.
- The instructor twin answers only from that instructor's own material, but not every answer is the instructor's personal view. Questions it cannot answer are passed to the instructor.
- Do not enter personal or sensitive data. Do not share health information, ID numbers, addresses, passwords or similar about yourself or others.
- Your messages are sent to Google's Gemini service (USA) to generate an answer and are deleted after 30 days.
- Quotas apply. The AI Coach has a daily free allowance. [KARAR: daily free quota and quotas on paid plans]
- Abuse is blocked. If we detect attempts to trick the system, generate harmful content or get around quotas, your access may be restricted.
9. Your content
Your notes, Hoca Dinlesin recordings and the questions you write to the AI or your instructor belong to you. You allow us to use them only to provide the service to you (for example, to deliver a recording to your instructor). We use your recordings to improve the listening engine only if you give separate explicit consent.
You are responsible for making sure what you send does not infringe anyone's rights (copyright, personality rights, etc.).
10. Intellectual property
Courses and course materials belong to the instructors; Musichool offers them under a licence from the instructors. The Platform's software and design and the Musichool name and logo belong to Musichool. These Terms give you no rights over them other than the licence in section 6.
11. Reporting infringements
If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright or personality rights, send the link to the content, your right, and a description of the infringement to [email protected]. We review reports under Turkish Law No. 5651 and related rules and remove access to the content where necessary.
12. Availability and changes to the service
We try to keep the Platform available without interruption, but there may be interruptions due to maintenance, technical faults or third-party services (for example video or payment providers). We may improve, change or remove features. If a change materially reduces rights you have paid for, your rights under consumer law are preserved.
13. Suspension or closure of accounts
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
- If you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms or the Community Guidelines, we may suspend or close your account. Where possible we will warn you first and tell you why.
- If an account is closed, your rights regarding amounts paid are determined by the Cancellation and Refund Policy and consumer law.
14. Liability
- Courses are educational; we do not guarantee any particular musical result.
- The instructor who made a course is primarily responsible for its accuracy; this does not remove your rights as a consumer against the seller.
- Liability that cannot be limited by law (in particular for intent and gross negligence and for harm to life and health) and your rights under consumer law are not affected.
- Otherwise, we are not liable for damage arising from events outside our control (for example internet infrastructure, third-party outages, force majeure). [KARAR: will a liability cap be set for non-consumer users?]
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will announce important changes on the site and by e-mail at least [KARAR: number of days] days before they take effect. If you keep using the Platform after the change, you accept the new Terms; if you do not accept them, you can delete your account. Changes do not alter the terms of purchases you have already made to your disadvantage.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Turkish law.
If you are a consumer, you can apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti) where you live or where you made the transaction, within the monetary limits announced each year by the Ministry of Trade, and to the Consumer Court (Tüketici Mahkemesi) above those limits. You can also apply through the "Tüketici Şikâyet" (consumer complaint) system on e-Devlet. If you are a consumer living in another country, any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence that apply to you are not affected.
For disputes with non-consumer users, [KARAR: competent courts and enforcement offices] have jurisdiction.
17. Contact
For questions, write to [email protected] or use the Contact page.
The Turkish version of these Terms prevails if there is any conflict between the two versions.
